My contract is signed. Where do I go from here?

Please find below information that will enable you to get settled in at LU!

 

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT:

A signed copy of your contract is to be sent to the Vice-President, Academic and Provost.

 

PAYROLL, BENEFITS AND PENSION PLAN:

Once your contract is signed you must schedule a meeting with:

Sue will schedule a meeting with you to gather the relevant information in order to set up your payroll, benefits and pension plan.

 

MOVING EXPENSES:

Prior to your move please contact:

The University has entered into an agreement with a moving company which provides us with very favorable rates.  Darlene will provide you with the name of the moving company and will keep track of expenses related to your move.

LIBRARY/ID CARD: 

The Library Card ID Form needs to be filled out when requesting a photo ID card.

The Chair and/or the Secretary of your academic unit will provide you with an office, keys, and telephone number.

 

E-MAIL ACCOUNT: 

Once your contract is signed, the Academic Staff Relations office will advise Computer Services of your name, length of contract and provide contact information whereby you will be notified through an existing e-mail of your Laurentian University Groupwise e-mail account and password.
