Communications and Marketing – Getting the word out
Embracing an integrated marketing communications (IMC) approach, the Communications and Marketing office is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy in support of Laurentian University's vision and goals.
As such, the Communications and Marketing office is the central public voice for Laurentian, ensuring stakeholders are kept apprised of university activities, while promoting Laurentian’s vision to a broad audience. The university community includes students, faculty, staff, media, parents, the public, government, industry, and many others, including various organizations.
Offering communications support in all areas (advertising, institutional communications and relations, media relations, online communications, publications, special events and sponsorship support), Communications and Marketing tracks, informs, and marks university achievements and fits them into a global context.
Public Affairs is an integral part of University Advancement, which also includes Alumni Relations and Development.
Our office hours are, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (during the academic year), and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (during the summer).
