Laurentian University is home to more than 350 professors and specialists who can comment on current issues, talk about their research activities and findings, or simply tell their stories. An online expert research guide will soon be available. In the meantime, our media relations officer can put you in touch with the expert you need.
Our production studio links Sudbury to the world
Provincial and national media can produce content and feed it from the Laurentian University campus. Our media centre provides a multitude of production services and is equipped with a fibre-optic broadcast link via Bell to allow quality connection to major media outlets anywhere in the world. This service is currently used by TVO and Discovery Channel.

How to share your news? Besides planning official announcements related to the institution, the media relations officer assists departments and professors with promoting their activities in the media. Be it research activities and findings, a colloquium, conference, award, concert or play, media relations services will help you tell your story to the community at large.
Please note that a minimum notice of 10 days is required to ensure that your message will be written, edited, translated and distributed timely.
