Honours Bachelor of Commerce (H.B.Comm)

 

The objective of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (H.B.Comm) program is to develop the future leaders of industry, government, and non-profit organizations. During the four years degree, key areas of study include: marketing, organizational behaviour, operations, finance, accounting and strategy.

 

In addition to imparting knowledge that encompasses both theory and current practice, the H.B.Com degree fosters the development of skills needed for success in the corporate world: critical thinking, strategic analysis, evaluation, problem solving, communication skills and teamwork.

Sports Administration (B.Comm. SPAD)

 

The Laurentian University SPAD degree: the program choice for leaders in sport management.

 

Canadian sport leaders and Laurentian professors designed this unique Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Sports Administration (SPAD) that has evolved into the premier sport management program in Canada. What makes the SPAD degree distinctive is a curriculum that combines and extensive exposure to the functional areas of business with a theoretical foundation and practical experience in sport management, strong ties to industry and an extensive alumni network covering professional and amateur sport throughout North America and beyond.

 

The SPAD curriculum ensures that students are exposed to sport management, key business theory and industry experience throughout the four years of the program.

Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A)

 

This program offers students in Barrie, Ontario the opportunity to obtain a four year bachelor degree in business administration. The Laurentian University Bachelor of Business Administration degree provides students with the skills and knowledge required to perform in a today’s demanding business environment.

 

Courses in this degree program may be applied toward certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) designations.
