
The Compensation function has two aspects. Global compensation takes care of the general salary adjustments reached as a result of collective agreement settlements, legislation like Social Contract or Pay Equity, etc. Projections and project support for budgeting, Labour Relations, and other strategic issues are also done here.

Individual salary administration takes care of any individual changes to salaries and benefits during the fiscal year, including salary changes resulting from transfers, temporary or term appointments, job evaluation changes, extensions of grants, etc.
