Learning
- Adaptive software for students with special needs.
- Peer tutoring for students experiencing difficulty in particular courses.
- English for Academic Preparation (EAP): counseling and conversational practice.
Writing
- Professional assistance in all types of student writing assignments and projects.
- Regular workshops on common academic writing problems.
Research and Library Education
- Assistance in developing facility in using a variety of databases, determining source validity, and using appropriate reference systems.
- Tours, classes, and course-specific instruction.
- Help available in person, by phone, by e-mail, or by Web.
Technology
- Help with software/computing problems in areas such as Groupwise, Novel, proxy accounts, and so on.
- Training in educational and presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint).
