The Dyck Family Scholarships in Political Science (3) Donated by Irene and the late John Dyck of Calgary, Alberta, to commemorate the family interest in politics and to encourage the development of political leadership in Canada.
Value: $1,000 each
Recipients: students with the highest grades entering each of the 3rd and 4th year of a specialized program in Political Science. The awards are payable in two instalments each year, in September and January.
The Joe Fabbro Memorial Award Established by the City of Greater Sudbury, friends and colleagues of the late Joe Fabbro to commemorate his numerous accomplishments as a businessman and local politician. Mr. Fabbro was a long-time mayor of the City and later, Chair of the Regional Municipality of Sudbury until his death in 1978.

Recipient: a student residing in the City of Greater Sudbury who is entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a general or specialized Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (min. 70% average in the previous year). Must not be in receipt of any other major award. Application required.
The Aaron Marsaw Award in Political Science Established to honour the University's first Rhodes Scholar, Aaron Marsaw, a graduate of Political Science and Philosophy.

Recipient: a full-time student enrolled in a Political Science program, on the basis of academic standing, financial need and Ontario residency as defined by OSAP. Application required.
The Doris Routhier Award in Political Science Established with affection and appreciation by the faculty of the Department of Political Science, to honour its long-time secretary, Doris Routhier.

Recipient: a student who is a SGA member, Ontario resident as defined by OSAP, has financial need, is active in extracurricular activities and is enrolled in Political Science. Students must submit a short statement outlining how they meet criteria. Application needed.

The Keith Sinclair Memorial Award

Recipient : a full time student enrolled in a Political Science program; awarded on the basis of academic standing, financial need, and Ontario residency by OSAP.
The Dr. John Yin Book Prize Awarded annually by the Department of Political Science.
Recipient: a full-time student graduating with a specialization in Political Science who has achieved the highest academic standing in at least three International Relations courses.
The Dr. M.A.K. Menon Memorial Book Prize Awarded annually by the Department of Political Science.
Recipient: a full-time student graduating with a specialization in Political Science who has achieved the highest academic standing in at least three Public Administration courses.
