Placement and Internship Options

Political Science Graduates - Placement

1. Political Science graduates can apply to the Parliamentary Intership Programme or to the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme.

If selected, graduates can acquire valuable practical experience and gain insight into the political process. They will work over a 10 month-period in Members' offices, spending equal periods of time working for a government and an opposition member. They will also attend seminars and be able to travel to other Canadian or foreign legislatures.

2. Political Science graduates can apply to the internship program at the Canadian Embassy in Washington

3. Other internship possibilities arise from time to time and students are encouraged to consult the Department for an up-to-date list.
