OESC card
This year you must get an OESC card but the application procedure has changed. Please go to the link below and follow the instructions that apply to you (e.g. there are special conditions if you are over 25 years of age etc..)
http://www.oesc-cseo.org/English/checks.html
When applying for your card and you reach the "Select your school" you must choose "Laurentian University/Universite Laurentienne" option, do not choose Laurentian University.
Also when choosing "Select type of Check" you must choose the "OESC police check with Student ID card".
You should be aware most boards are only accepting the OESC card. However at least one board is not accepting it at all. Should you be having a placement outside of Sudbury, it is your responsibility to have the proper police records check.
All students must have a valid OESC card prior to the beginning of the school year.
If you have any questions call Patricia Danyluk or Sylvie Brochu at 675-1151 ext. (3208) and (4380).
