Applications must be received no later than May 31, 2009 (Canadian and Permanent Residents only). Starting in 2009, international applications will be accepted (deadline Feb 1st).

The School of Sports Administration expects to admit SIX to TWELVE students in 2009; it is limited enrollment.

The Graduate Admissions Committee requires the following:

·         A completed application form

·         Official transcripts from the candidate’s undergraduate institution

·         Two letters of reference (At least one must attest to the candidate having a minimum of two years of full-time work experience after their undergraduate degree at a significant level of responsibility)

·         The candidate’s score in the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) (This is not required, but submitting a score may strengthen application )

·         For language and quantitative requirements, please visit the MBA website.

Thesis Stream

Outstanding Commerce graduates or individuals with an equivalent degree, without work experience may be admitted directly into the MBA program. A GMAT score of 550 or higher will help an application.  Students who enroll in the thesis stream may take advantage of the chance to work with the Institute for Sport Marketing at Laurentian University

To Apply

All graduate students must apply online through the OUAC online application centre. See Graduate Studies page of the Admissions section of the Laurentian website for further details.
