April 30 to May 11                     Late registration and course change period.

 

Monday, May 7                         Spring Session classes begin.

 

Friday, May 11                          No Spring Session registrations or course changes for first-term and full-term courses permitted after this date.

 

Tuesday, May 15                       Senate meeting.

 

Monday, May 21                       Victoria Day.

 

Thursday, May 31                      Students withdrawing from Spring Session first-term courses after this date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic record.

 

June 15 & 16                             Final examinations for Spring Session first-term courses and mid-term examinations for distance education courses.

 

Monday, June 18                       Second-term courses begin.

 

Tuesday, June 19                      Senate meeting.

 

Thursday, June 21                     Students withdrawing from Spring Session full-term courses after this  date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic record.

 

Friday, June 22                         No Spring Session registrations or course changes for second-term courses permitted after this date.

 

Monday, July 2                         Canada Day Holiday.

 

Thursday, July 12                      Students withdrawing from Spring Session second-term courses after this date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic record.

 

Thursday, July 26                      Spring Session classes end.

 

July 27 & 28                              Final examinations for Spring Session courses (on-campus courses).

 

July 27 to August 4                   Final examinations for distance education courses.

 

Monday, August 6                     Civic Holiday.

 

Friday, August 24                      Applications for graduation at the Fall Convocation must be submitted prior to this date.

 

Saturday, October 27                Fall Convocation.

 

 

First Term

Monday, September 3               Labour Day.

 

Wednesday, September 5          Classes begin.

 

September 5 to 14                     Late registration and course change period. (Late registration fee applies).

 

Friday, September 14                No registration or course changes for first-term courses (2012F) or full-year courses (2012FW) permitted after this date.

 

Tuesday, September 18             Senate meeting.

 

Monday, October 1                   Special meeting of Senate Committee on Academic Regulations and  Awards to consider Fall graduates.

 

Monday, October 8                   Thanksgiving Day.

 

Tuesday, October 16                 Senate meeting.

 

October 22 to 26                       Fall Study Week.

 

Saturday, October 27                Fall Convocation.

 

Monday, November 5                Students withdrawing from first-term courses (2012F) after this date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic record.

 

Tuesday, November 20              Senate Meeting.

 

Wednesday, December 5           Last day of classes (follows Monday timetable).

 

December 6 to 22                      Examination period for first-term courses (2012F) and mid-term test for full-year courses (2012FW).

 

Tuesday, December 11              Senate meeting.

 

Second Term

Monday, January 7                    Classes begin.

 

Tuesday, January 15                  Senate meeting.

 

Friday, January 18                     No registration or course changes for second-term courses (2013W) will be permitted after this date.

 

                                                Last date for payment of second-term tuition fees.

 

                                               

Friday, January 25                     Applications for graduation at the Spring Convocation must be submitted prior to this date.

 

                                                Students withdrawing from full-year courses (2012FW) after this date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic transcript.

 

Tuesday, February 12                Senate meeting.

 

Monday, February 18                 Founders’ Day.

 

February 18 to 22                      Study Week.

 

Wednesday, February 27           Students withdrawing from second-term courses (2013W) after this date will receive an ‘F’ on their academic record.

 

Tuesday, March 19                    Senate meeting.

 

Friday, March 29                       Good Friday.

 

Monday, April 1                         Easter Monday.

 

Monday, April 8                         Last day of classes.
