Laurentian University - Summer 2011

Welcome to Accessibility Services.  It is our role to support Laurentian University students with disabilities in several ways.  For example, we provide learning strategies tutoring, assistive technology training, writing assistance, accommodations, help with financial aid, and career counseling.  Contact your case manager for more information about these services or for any other help needed.
As a student registered with our department, you also have several responsibilities, such as:

  • Providing us with appropriate medical documentation regarding your disability.  Without this, we cannot provide you with services or any accommodations.
  • Registering with Accessibility Services at the beginning of each semester in which you are taking courses.  Without registering with us, you will not be able to access any accommodations.
  • Booking your tests/exams online on our test booking site a minimum of seven days prior to the test date.  If this is not done, we cannot guarantee that we can provide accommodation for that test/exam.
  • Notifying us immediately of any changes in your courses (including dropped courses).
